Rebecca Louise “Becky” Judd, 27, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell.
She was born on Jan. 29, 1984, in Lander, Wyo., the daughter of Chuck and Jane (Shennum) Spain.
She attended and graduated from Riverton High School in Riverton, Wyo.
On June 19, 2004, she married Chris Judd. They had three children, Ryder, Rowdy and Reilly. Becky was a loving and devoted mother to her children.
Rebecca “Becky” was a creative and artistic individual who loved creating unique pictures and stained glass pieces. She won many awards with her artwork. When she moved to the Flathead Valley, she sold some of her stained glass pieces commercially in Whitefish. Becky loved nature and being outdoors.
Becky will be most remembered for her kind and gentle spirit and as a wonderful mother.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Clarkson and Marian Spain; maternal grandmother, Betty Shennum; aunt, Charlotte Grabow; uncle, Jim Rosenbeck; and cousins, Madison Grabow, Howard Spain, Kaiden Spain, Don Cory and Samuel Cory.
Becky is survived by her husband, Chris Judd; her children, Ryder, Rowdy and Reilly; her parents, Chuck and Jane Spain; her brother, Nick Spain and Marie; maternal grandfather, Merlin Shennum; uncle and aunt, Clark and Shirlee Spain; aunt, Carolyn Neu; uncle, Bill Grabow; aunt, Judy Rosenbeck-Dodd; uncle, Alan Shennum; and numerous cousins.
Funeral services for Becky will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Gravrock officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
The family suggests that any memorial contributions be sent to an educational fund for the Judd children in care of Three Rivers Bank, P.O. Box 7250, Kalispell, MT 59904.
