DESERT AIRE - Hole No. 11 at the Desert Aire Golf Course is bound to become popular among players. Seattle Seahawk offensive lineman Sean Locklear scored a hole-in-one there on May 15.

No. 11 is a hole on which most golfers would have a chance to match the Seahawk. The par-3 is only 146 yards in length.

Locklear was playing with his father-in-law Gary Grosso, a Desert Aire home owner when he nailed his ace. A 10-year player, Locklear struck his magical shot with a 7-iron.

"He was like a little kid when he came in here, jumping up and down," pro shop assistant Carolyn Holmes said. "He was excited."
