SPOKANE - Greg Orton caught three touchdown passes and the Spokane Shock built a big lead, then held off the third-ranked Chicago Rush 63-60 in Arena Football League play Saturday night before 9,499 at Spokane Arena.

Orton's second TD catch, from Erik Meyer, capped a run of four straight Shock touchdowns and gave Spokane (6-7) a 49-27 lead early in the third quarter.

Quarterback Dominic Randolph ran 7 yards for a touchdown to pull Chicago (9-4) within three points with 52 seconds left, but the Shock were able to run out the clock.

Orton had 10 catches for 169 yards.

Reggie Gray caught five touchdown passes for Chicago, and former Shock and Washington State receiver Charles Dillon caught two.

Spokane plays at New Orleans next Saturday.
