LIBBY - Alex Cislo hit a 3-run home run and both Justin Wicka and Jared Winslow improved their pitching records to 6-1 as the Libby Loggers defeated the visiting Kalispell Lakers on Tuesday night, 11-2 and 6-4.

Libby improved to 9-0 in conference with the wins.

"Any time you can get two conference wins you have to be happy," said Libby coach Kelly Morford.

"That big homer by Cislo in the first game kind of opened things up for us," Morford said.

The coach also complimented Wicka and Winslow. "They're a big reason for our success this year," he said.

Hitting-wise, Justyn Mack and Andrew Haggerty were both 2-for-3 in the first game. Haggerty had two RBI. In the second game, Winslow was 2-for-4, Chris Herbig was 2-for-3 and Mack hit a triple.

For the Lakers, Robert Simmons had a triple and two RBI in the first game.

Libby takes on Moscow, Idaho at 7:45 p.m. Thursday in the Big Bucks Tournament in Libby.
