Time to get tan

Downtown Coeur d'Alene's tanning salon has a new owner along with a completely new look.

The old Celestial Tan at 420 N. 4th St. has become Forever Summer Tanning Salon. The Mitchell Corporation owned by Brad Mitchell took over the salon and has given the business and the building, inside and out, a fresh look.

Brad Mitchell/The Mitchell Corporation is a commercial Real Estate Private Money broker and business development consulting business. As a previous client of Celestial Tan, Mitchell showed up one day to get that summer look, only to find a note on the door saying the business had closed.

Mitchell, a previous owner of several tanning salons, saw this as an opportunity to get back into the tanning business. After several months of negotiations and several months of fixing the building, Forever Summer opened up in the first part of April this year. In an effort to bring back old clients, Mitchell is offering quite the deal.

"I realize many of the old Celestial Tan clients lost their memberships, and if you are one of those people, come in during the month of June and purchase any of our new tanning packages and we will double it for you," Mitchell said. "Buy a month unlimited, get two months unlimited, and we're sorry for your inconvenience."

Forever Summer Tanning includes many of today's state-of-the-art tanning booths. Some of the premium tanning equipment is the SunStar 20 minute tanning bed, the SunDome 48 bulb stand up tanning booth, and the StarPower 52 bulb premium tanning system with side and shoulder tanners and high pressure UVA Face Tanners.

Forever Summer also offers sunless spray tans to use for any occasion, including weddings, parties, senior portraits, prom, or whenever you just want to get that tan look. The salon stocks indoor and outdoor tanning supplies, sunglasses and a large selection of Avon products.
