Anglers reeling in fish in Captn's Table Trash Can Derby

GARFIELD BAY - Anglers are still catching big fish in the fourth Captn's Table Trash Can Derby on Lake Pend Oreille.
Standings are:
RAINBOW DIVISION, adult
Roy Stokes, 13 pounds, 12 ounces, 33 inches, caught mid-lake, 6-17
Josh LaRue, 11 pounds, 6 ounces, 30 1/2 inches, caught mid-lake, 6-17
Dave Gillespie, 10 pounds, 1 ounce, 29 inches, caught mid-lake, 6-17
MAC DIVISION, adult
Mike Cordon, 20 pounds, 37 inches, mid-lake, caught mid-lake, 6-19

The derby runs Thursdays through Sundays each week in June, with awards set for June 26. The entry fee is $20 per week. Register at Macdonald's Hudson Bay Resort in Bayview or the Captn's Table. Or, if you're on the lake, contact the derby master on the radio at channel 16.
All fish caught by adults must be weighed at the Captn's Table. Kids can weigh their fish at Macdonald's or the Captn's Table.
It is free for kids age 12 and young, and $5 a week for juniors 13-18 years old. Each youth who participates receives a gift.
Sponsors include Five Star Concrete and Mark's Marine in Hayden, Bad Boy Custom's in Sandpoint and Fins and Feathers in Coeur d'Alene.
