Forest-road chase hits 95 mph

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputies pursued an allegedly intoxicated driver beginning at about 3 a.m. Thursday on U.S. 2 East in Martin City. She allegedly reached speeds as high as 95 miles per hour and attempted to lose law enforcement officers on forest roads before she was eventually stopped and arrested. Glacier County Sheriff’s Office deputies were also involved  in the pursuit.

A woman on Zimmerman Road reported suspicious activity after a man came to her home offering to sell her pavement.

Unauthorized use of an automobile was alleged by a woman on Coram Stage Road who said she got in fight with her boyfriend and that he took her vehicle. She found the vehicle — with the keys in the ignition — parked at her place of employment.

A caller on Blaine Mountain Road said his or her 30-year-old son broke a window.

Vandals hit a concession stand at baseball fields on Talbot Road in Columbia Falls. About $100 was stolen and damage was reported to a cash register, two doors and other items. Candy was also stolen.

Someone ordered 16 quesadillas from a business on Somers Road but then never arrived to pay for them or pick them up.

Deputies received a report that meth was being used and vicious animals were present at a home where an infant lives.

Dozens of cattle were seen standing on Farm to Market Road.

A woman on Whitefish Stage said she was being harassed by her ex-husband.

 A cat was reportedly stuck in a tree on Cheery Lynn Road.

A drill was stolen from a business on Ninth Street West in Columbia Falls.

Animal cruelty was alleged on Three Eagle Lane in Bigfork. The caller said horses were being neglected.

On U.S. 2 East, a caller said someone had stolen his identity and his “whole life.”

A man on Two Mile Drive said a chocolate Labrador retriever was running around the neighborhood and scaring his wife and children.

Criminal trespass was reported at a home on Antelope Trail in Whitefish.

A woman on Parliament Drive complained that she was supposed to show a house to potential buyers but they left when they saw three patrol cars at the residence. Deputies were looking for a man with an arrest warrant.

Someone egged a house on Sulky Lane.

An elderly driver collided with a garage on Elk Park Road near Columbia Falls.

The Kalispell Police Department received a request to remove a man from a hotel on North Main Street after he yelled at employees. The man reportedly later said that he works for the federal government and that his blind wife and dog were staying in the room. When those excuses didn’t work, he left alone.

A hit and run collision was reported near West Center Street when the driver of a semi-truck collided with a planter.

Suspicious activity was reported in the parking lot of a bar on Woodland Park Road when a woman was seen on her back in the parking lot with her pants around her ankles. She was fully clothed when an officer arrived. She was told to leave the area.

On Seventh Avenue West, several teenagers were seen passing what appeared to be a marijuana pipe while seated in a parked car.

Someone stole a skateboard and helmet at Woodland Park.

A report of a possible physical disturbance on Sherwood Lane was just a mother disciplining a child.

A man was removed from his ex-girlfriend’s home on Empire Loop after he showed up drunk and starting yelling at the woman.

A man seen sleeping in the back of a truck on West Idaho Street told officers he’s been living there for two months and that no one has complained.
