Top-ranked Yani Tseng ran away and won the LPGA Championship by 10 strokes and, at 22, become the youngest player to win four LPGA Tour majors.
Tseng closed with a 6-under 66 on Sunday to finish at 19-under 269 at Locust Hill Country Club in Pittsford, N.Y., matching the LPGA record low score at a major. And her dominating performance came a year after Cristie Kerr shot the same score to win the tournament by a whopping 12 strokes.
Morgan Pressel (71) finished second. Kerr (69), Suzann Pettersen (67) and Paula Creamer (69) tied for third at 8 under.
• Fredrik Jacobson closed out his first PGA Tour title, shooting a 4-under 66 in the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Conn., for a one-stroke victory over John Rollins and Ryan Moore.
• Playing in just his third Champions Tour event, John Huston shot a 7-under 65, taking advantage of three straight bogeys by the normally steady Mark Wiebe, and won the Dick's Sporting Goods Open in Endicott, N.Y., by three shots.

Dodgers 3, Angels 2: Clayton Kershaw outlasted Jered Weaver in a matchup of Los Angeles aces and the host Dodgers rallied for two runs in the bottom of the ninth to beat the Angels.
Tigers 8, Diamondbacks 3: Miguel Cabrera hit a go-ahead single and host Detroit scored seven runs with two outs in the eighth to beat Arizona.
Red Sox 4, Pirates 2: Andrew Miller picked up his first win with Boston, scattering five hits over six innings as the visiting Red Sox snapped a four-game losing streak by beating Pittsburgh.
Phillies 3, Athletics 1: Roy Halladay pitched his NL-leading fifth complete game and Jimmy Rollins went 4 for 4, leading host Philadelphia over Oakland.
Orioles 7, Reds 5: Derrek Lee and Mark Reynolds homered in a four-run fourth, Luke Scott added a solo shot in the seventh and host Baltimore defeated Cincinnati.
Rays 14, Astros 10: Evan Longoria homered twice and drove in five runs and pinch-hitter Matt Joyce delivered a go-ahead double in the eighth to lead visiting Tampa Bay over Houston.
Yankees 6, Rockies 4: Nick Swisher and Jorge Posada had consecutive homers and host New York beat Colorado.
Brewers 6, Twins 2: Ryan Braun extended his hitting streak to 17 games with a tiebreaking home run and host Milwaukee beat Minnesota.
Royals 6, Cubs 3: Alex Gordon extended his hitting streak to 13 games with an RBI double in the first to lead host Kansas City past Chicago.
Nationals 2, White Sox 1: Danny Espinosa hit a two-run homer in the seventh to lead Washington at Chicago.
Blue Jays 5, Cardinals 0: Ricky Romero threw a four-hitter for his second career shutout as visiting Toronto whipped St. Louis.
Mets 8, Rangers 5: At Arlington, Texas, Jose Reyes had four hits and scored three runs, rookie Dillon Gee pitched six effective innings and New York beat Texas.
Giants 3, Indians 1: Madison Bumgarner bounced back from a one-out, eight-run performance with one of his best starts, striking out a career-high 11 batters in seven innings to help host San Francisco beat Cleveland.

Padres 4, Braves 1: Orlando Hudson's two-run single in the eighth lifted host San Diego over Atlanta.
Auto racing
Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel won his sixth race of the season at the European Grand Prix in Valencia, Spain, building on his already commanding Formula One series lead.
Vettel beat Fernando Alonso of Ferrari by 10.891 seconds for his second straight victory along Valencia's street circuit.
Track and field
Walter Dix completed the 100-200 double at the U.S. track championships in Eugene, Ore.
In the day's best race, Jeshua Anderson, a Washington State grad, dove across the line to beat Bershawn Jackson by .009 seconds in the 400 hurdles and add the national championship to his three NCAA crowns.
