Charles Franklin Pol died peacefully June 26, 2011, with his daughter Adeline at his side. He was born Oct. 26, 1921, in South Dakota to William and Adeline Pol.

He married Denise and together they raised three children, Delores Ames, Douglas and Adeline Pol.

Chuck is survived and loved by Georgia Kellas, his cherished and loyal companion of many years; his two daughters and many grandchildren.

Chuck served in the Army, worked construction, broke horses and retired after a long fulfilling career as a barber in Hayden Lake.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman with a love for the outdoors. Anyone fortunate to be considered his good friend will remember him fondly for his generosity; sharing his homemade wine, home brew and sauerkraut.

We will always remember Chuck as our treasured dad, grandpa and friend.

“Gramps” I look forward to sharing a bowl of homemade tomato soup and fish tails with you, when I see you again. — Love Mindy

Dad, my memories of the times we shared will always make me smile. — Berf-berf

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2011, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls. Please sign Chuck’s guest registry and view his memorial at www.englishfuneralchapel.com.
