In celebration of National Pancake Day, IHOP restaurants nationwide will offer each guest a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes in an effort to raise awareness and funds for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals today.

Donations made at IHOPs in the North Idaho area will benefit the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals' programs at Providence Holy Family Hospital; Providence Mt. Carmel Hospital; Providence Sacred Heart Children's Hospital; Providence St. Joseph's Hospital; St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute; Kootenai Medical Center and Inland Northwest Health Services.

The pancake promotion will be 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Coeur d'Alene IHOP is on Fourth Street, just north of Interstate 90.
