Plowing Problems

For nearly forty years, I have resided in a home on the corner of Main and B streets in St. Regis.  Somehow when the snow comes the plows are quick to clear Main Street.

My curiosity comes sort of in the form of a question. When winter arrives, do we suddenly move the town boundaries, or do the county plows only work from the north to south?  I don’t think the people on the east and west streets pay any less taxes than their neighbors around the corner.  If I hire someone to plow and have them clear out the route to my daily paper box, that lasts till the county comes by and fills it up again.

Whatever became of gold common courtesies and using plain old common sense?
