POLSON — Polson Fire Department responded to a fire in a dryer at the Wash-N-Go laundry facility on Rufus Lane in Polson last Wednesday. PPD Fire Chief John Fairchild said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
“The heated material inside the dryer got to the ignition point, but we are not certain at this time whether it was a result of too much chemical or an electrical failure,” he said.
While there were flames, the damage was contained to the dryer, Fairchild said, and the amount of property damage was minimal.
