Head coach: Heidi Burns (10th year)

2010 overall record: 9-0

2010 league record: 9-0

2010 postseason: District champions, state qualifiers Allison Duff (two-time qualifier, 23rd in Class 2A last season), Megan Criss, and Kelsey Sage.

Number of returnees: Seven

ROSTER: SENIORS - Megan Criss, Allison Duff, Areil Durham, Kelsey Sage, and Ann Slininger; JUNIORS - Rachel Autry and Lydia Meyers OUTLOOK: Losing three veterans would hurt a lot of teams but Ephrata returns three state qualifying veterans and that could make a world of difference for the defending Central Washington Athletic Conference (CWAC) champions.

Two-time state qualifier Duff will lead a triumvirate including Criss and Sage that will make the transition of three new varsity golfers into the lineup a little easier.

"After taking league and districts last year my girls have a lot to live up too," head coach Heidi Burns said. "However with only three returning varsity players it will be hard to do. Our strengths for this season is that we have three returning varsity players who all made it to state and these three are driven and determined to make it back to state for their last year of golf."

Ephrata's weakness will be lacking that needed scoring experience at spots four through six which could hinder the program's chances at another unbeaten season let alone a duplicate CWAC title.

"However, all my players are dedicated to the sport and put in the time/effort needed to be successful," Burns said.
