Couple Emmett and Patti Sullivan, of Hayden, have opened Sully's Pub and Grill at the location of the long-time Time Out Tavern.

The Sullivans, who have owned the building since 1995, ran Time Out from 1995 through 1999. The pub, located at 5785 N. Government Way just north of Dalton Avenue, has 1,200 square feet of space.

It opened under the new name last month, said Emmett Sullivan.

Jim Nutting owned and operated the business for the last 11 years, but finished in November, Sullivan said.

The business has been operating under the Time Out Tavern name since the late 1960s, he said.

Customers will notice a cleaned up and all new interior, he said. The atmosphere has changed, too.

"It'll be a nice family bar," he said.

Twelve beers will be on tap, he said.

The business also will sell liquor, coffee drinks (he has added an espresso machine), and food. The menu will include hamburgers, pork chop sandwiches, chicken strips and similar items, he said.

The establishment will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and hours will be extended depending on demand.
