Pirates shine at Dillon tournament

strong placings.

weeks ago at the Dillon JC wrestling tournament thanks to several strong placings.

"I was really happy with them," coach Bill Owen said. "I have a fairly young team."

Wyatt Ducharme finished 1st in the 100-pound middle division as Polson's lone top finish.

"That was an exceptional performance for him," Owen said.

Ryan Burland placed 2nd at 135 - middle, while Kelan Couture

placed 2nd at 140 - junior. Placing third for the Pirates, Cameron Brown at 80 pounds - middle, Tanner Wilson at 110 - middle, Troy Meyer at 130 - middle, Tele Seeman at 135 - middle and Lane George at Heavyweight-junior.

"Placing third is excellent with that many teams in it," Owen said.

Taking fourth was Tyler Houle at 90 - middle, Alex Helgeson at 100 - junior, Donevun Herman at 100 - junior, Michael Corrigan at 155 - junior.

"These kids are working hard," Owen said
