Kellye Sharp has been named regional manager of the Idaho Department of Labor offices in North Idaho.

Sharp replaces Robin Dyck, said Bob Fick, department spokesman.

Dyck, who is based at the department's Sandpoint office, was promoted to deputy director for field services. She will oversee all 25 offices in the department's three regions statewide, Fick said.

Sharp, who will be based in Lewiston, will oversee the nine offices in the 10 northern counties from the Salmon River to the Canadian border.

Sharp has worked for the department for 13 years. She has managed the Lewiston office for the previous seven years.

Sharp has experience working with local businesses, community service providers and local and regional economic development organizations, Fick said.

Prior to joining the department, Sharp was operations manager of a restaurant corporation for more than 16 years, he said.

The appointments were made by department director Roger B. Madsen, Fick said.

The department also announced that Jill Kleist will take responsibility for the nine local offices in the state's 16 eastern and south central counties.

Sharp and Kleist join Brian Sporleder, who oversees the seven local offices in southwestern Idaho.
