EPHRATA - A Missoula, Mont. man is accused of breaking into three Quincy homes in one night.

Prosecutors charged Randolph S. Edmondson, 42, with residential burglary for break-ins along K Street Southwest in the city.

Quincy police received the first call from a teenage boy, who reportedly spotted Edmondson walking through the house with a flashlight. The man allegedly left the house without taking anything, according to the Quincy police report.

Police responded to two similar incidents on K Street Southwest, where residents reported similar incidents, according to the police report. All of the reports described the man as wearing blue coveralls.

Police found Randolph near the intersection of Seventh Avenue Southwest and L Street Southwest. He reportedly told police he'd arrived in the city 20 minutes earlier and was taking a walk, according to the police report.

Witnesses reportedly identified Randolph as the man who entered the residences.
