QUINCY - Prosser's offense was too much for the Quincy Jacks as the visiting Mustangs took two in a CWAC doubleheader on Saturday.

Prosser won 7-6 and 17-6 at Quincy thanks to one comeback and one strong offensive outburst early.

Quincy led 2-0 going into the sixth inning in game one before Prosser tied things up at 2-2 then took a 7-2 lead after the seventh.

The Jacks (1-2, 0-2) scored four in the bottom half of the frame but couldn't complete the rally.

Cole Stanley finished 2-for-3 with three RBI and a homerun during the last inning rally for Quincy.

Chad Omlin complemented Stanley with a 2-for-4 day with an RBI.

In the nightcap, Prosser scored six runs in the second inning and eight more in the fourth inning to pull away early.

Offensively, Brett Petersen went 2-for-3 with two RBI for Quincy.
