Chiefs start strong in POD play

WALLA WALLA - A competitive result in the first round of POD play could go a long way for the Moses Lake Chiefs boys golf team this season.
At Veterans Memorial Golf Course (Par 72) the Chiefs ended up in fourth place with a score of 340, behind winners Richland (306), Walla Walla (320), and Wenatchee (328).
The top individual finisher for the Chiefs was Gabe Porter who ended up in ninth place with a score of 80, just five strokes of the winning pace set by Richland's Matt Rezendes.
Other scorers for the Chiefs were Randy McNair (82), Tanner Montgomery (88), and Kellan Roelick (90).
