EPHRATA - Two comebacks were not enough for the Ephrata Tigers (1-3) who dropped a 3-2 decision to visiting Chelan last night.

Chelan held leads of 1-0 and 2-1 only to see the Tigers rally to tie. But a late score for the visiting Goats was enough to make sure a third strike was not in the cards for the Tigers.

"We had fewer lapses and  had a more consistent build up," Ephrata head coach Keith Laughlin said. "The back line is becoming a stronger unit, working more tightly together.  Overall I was pleased with the effort and the growth of the team."

Chelan outshot Ephrata 8-7.
