Warden boys team cruises to big win

WARDEN - The Warden Cougars were big winners on Monday as they played host to Quincy and Riverside Christian.

Playing on their home course at Sage Hills, the Cougars shot a meet low 351, easily outdistancing Quincy's 431 and Riverside Christian who took up the last spot with a 442.

Warden's Brandon Wurzer set the winning pace as the medalist, shooting an 83, while Trent Bates and Kenny Sullivan each followed with an 88 apiece, while Caleb Caballero shot a 92.

Quincy's top finisher was Kip Slusher's 93 while Jeremy Guthas finished with a 99, Alexis Pio had a 114, and Jarrod Lindell wrapped up play with a 125.
