KENNEWICK - In their first action since a resounding and testimonial, 10-0 win over Graham-Kapowsin on Saturday only hours after the death of their head coach Ed McNamara, the Moses Lake Chiefs travelled to Kamiakin on Tuesday for a doubleheader against a strong Kamiakin team.

In the end, the Braves' hitting and pitching was just too much for the Chiefs (3-3) as Kamiakin swept proceedings 6-2 and 15-2.

Moses Lake outhit Kamiakin 7-5 in game one, but five errors gave the hosts enough of a reprieve to hold off the Chiefs.

Nick Dodds led the Chiefs offensively, going 2-for-4, with a double and an RBI.

After a scoreless first inning in the nightcap, the Braves' offense exploded for 15 runs over their last three at-bats and they would coast to the five-run mercy-rule win.

Kamiakin outhit Moses Lake 13-3, as Bryton Redal recorded both RBI for the Chiefs in the second inning to give his team an early 2-0 lead.
