Lady Tigers sweep past Wolves

WAPATO - The Ephrata Lady Tigers softball team swept hosts Wapato, beating the host Wolves 13-10 and 16-3.

In game one, Ephrata held a 13-3 lead before a late rally by the Wolves interesting, as the hosts scored seven runs in the bottom of the seventh.

Ephrata, which earned their first two Central Washington Athletic Conference (CWAC) wins on the year, had 15 hits, led by Kayla Brissey (3-for-3, with three HR), Skylar Lund (3-for-4, with four stolen bases), and Emma Ratigan (4-for-4).

In the second game, Ephrata rolled out to a seven-run lead after their first at-bats and never looked back.

The Lady Tigers (2-5, 2-4) had 13 hits as Lund went 4-fo-4 with a two triples and a double, an Lauren Laird went 3-for-3.
