RICHLAND - The Cougars took two over Liberty Christian on Saturday, sweeping a doubleheader 6-3 and 18-3.

Warden is now 4-1 overall.

In the opener Marcelo Pruneda pitched a complete game for the win and he was backed offensively by Jacob Yamane (2-for-4, RBI), Derek Pruneda (2-fo-4), Cruz Pruneda (1-for-3, three RBI), and Ty Jesse (1-for-2 with four stolen bases).

During the nightcap rout of LC, Warden's Cruz Pruneda pitched all five innings in the mercy-rule win.

He also batted 3-for-5 while Derek Pruneda went 4-for-5, Yamane finished 4-for-4 with four triples and two RBI, Louie Reyes went 2-for-3 as did Jesse, and Anthony Platas ended up  3-for-4. Garritt Marks ended up 2-for-5 with three RBI.
