OTHELLO - The Lady Huskies of Othello battled to two tough losses against the Class 2A defending runner-ups from Colville on Saturday.

Othello lost both games of a doubleheader 3-1 and 4-2.

"We played right with them I think we are right where we should be for this time of the year to play a quality team like this and come away with games like this,"  Othello head coach Rudy Ochoa said. "Of course I wish we would have won one of the games but that's the way it goes."

Colville scored two runs late in the first game and took an early lead in the nightcap and held on for the win.
