On Saturday more than 20 former Vikings

and Valkyries basketball players returned to their old stomping

grounds to play in the third annual Bigfork High School Alumni

Basketball Games.

The men took on the current Vikings

team and beat them 71-69. The Valkyries defeated the women’s team

50-49.

The games were followed by a spaghetti

dinner provided by the Garden Bar and BruMar Estate.

The annual event, which was created to

bring the community together for some light-hearted games, is also

a fundraiser. This year $480 were raised for the Bigfork Food

Pantry.
