Stringer, Arndt, Brown lead BSMA at LMA Open Taekwondo Championships

Kegan Stringer, Cheyanne Arndt, Ziah Brown led Big Sky Martial Arts competitors at the LMA Open Taekwondo Championships in Renton, Wash., on March 12.

Stringer, age 7, senior green belt; Arndt, 8, senior green; and Brown, 10, blue, were all double winners. They took first place in forms and sparring.

BSMA had 17 competitors in a field of 650.

Tali Miller (6) - 2. forms and sparring; Meredith Bedford (9) - 2. forms.

Senior Green

Meg Miller (9) - 1. sparring and 2. forms; Tracer Gislason (9) - 1. forms and 3. sparring.

Blue

Bella Waldher (9) - 1. sparring; Kyah Gislason (10) - 1. forms and 3. sparring; L.J. Stringer (10) - 1. forms and 3. sparring.

Senior Blue

Michael Bedford (11) - 1. forms and 3. sparring

Senior Red

Dakota Arndt (13) - 1. sparring and 2. forms.

Black

Jackson Waldher (13) - 1. sparring; Taylor Reed (13) - 1. sparring and 2. forms; Josh Dohr (18) - 1. forms; Sean Miller (29) - 2. forms and 3. sparring.
