SPOKANE - The Spokane Shock had to hold on late, but came away with a 70-69 win over the top-ranked and previously unbeaten Arizona Rattlers in front of 10,113 in an Arena Football League game at the Spokane Arena on Saturday night.

Arizona, which trailed 70-57 with 52 seconds remaining, stormed back as quarterback Nick Davila hit Rod Winsor on a 4-yard touchdown pass to cut the deficit to 70-63.

Arizona (6-1) recovered an onside kick with 32 seconds remaining and Davila found Trandon Harvey on a 24 yard pass to get the Rattlers to the Shock 14-yard line.

Davila attempted to complete a pass to Jason Geathers, but Spokane safety Alex Teems was flagged for pass interference, moving the ball to the 4-yard line.

Odie Armstrong pounded the ball in from four yards out, but an attempt for a 2-point conversion was deflected by the Spokane defense.

Arizona recovered another onside kick, but had a 46-yard field goal attempt blocked by Spokane's Khreem Smith to end the contest.

Spokane quarterback Kyle Rowley completed 21 of 31 passes for 219 yards and eight touchdowns. Greg Orton had eight catches for 70 yards and three touchdowns for Spokane (3-4), which travels to the expansion Pittsburgh Power on Saturday.
