MOSES LAKE - Washington State Attorney General Rob McKenna is visiting Moses Lake Saturday as part of his campaign for the 2012 governor's race.
The free event is from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Grant County International Airport terminal building, located at 7810 Andrews St. NE, Moses Lake.
The public is invited to attend the casual event, which is not funded by the state, said Adam Faber, McKenna's campaign spokesperson.
Also this weekend, McKenna is attending a Lincoln Day dinner in Chewelah and speaking before the Evergreen Leadership Conference in Yakima.
The Bellevue Republican is serving his second term as attorney general.
"I have a solid group of supporters in Grant County who are always looking for new ways to engage the community," McKenna stated. "I'll be speaking briefly, but the event is really about meeting people and hearing what issues are concerning to them or having a big impact locally."
