Margaret V. Mann, 89, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away May 2, 2011. Margaret was born Aug. 16, 1921, to Laura and Joe Graham of Cheney, Wash.

Margaret attended Cheney schools including two years at Eastern Washington University. She married her husband of 70 years, Howard R. Mann on Oct. 6, 1941. They lived in Coeur d'Alene and Cocolalla most of their married life.

Margaret was a homemaker. She was active in the First Christian Church, having been a lifelong member. She loved to read and once her girls were grown worked at the Coeur d'Alene Public Library. She enjoyed quilting, crafts, gardening and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Norman Graham; sister Maxine Curtis and granddaughter Kelly Erwin.

She is survived by her husband, Howard; daughters, Lyndell Erwin (Leland) and Jeanette Branson (Robert); grandsons, Shane Gregory and Jim Erwin; granddaughter Monica McLean (Jason) and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011, at The Four Seasons Assisted Living, Spring Cottage.
