Reyes, a senior from Coeur d'Alene High, was awarded the John Kolendich Memorial Scholarship during the school's 19th annual Robert O. Lindsay Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet on April 25. The scholarship was created in honor of John Kolendich, who passed away in 2003 at the age of 47 after a battle with cancer. The scholarship is awarded to a student athlete who has exhausted playing eligibility.

Maldonado, a sophomore from Timberlake High in Spirit Lake, set school records in the 100-meter dash (10.67 seconds) and 200 (21.43) at the Coast Conference Championships on Friday at San Jose College.

DeLong, a senior from Coeur d'Alene High, became the second Bulldog pitcher to win 20 games in a season after allowing one unearned run on six hits and striking out seven in 11 innings in a 2-1 win over Missouri State on Saturday. DeLong (20-6) is the first pitcher to win 20 games since Laurie Bowden, who won 28 games in 1990.

Rhianna Grossman

Grossman, a freshman from Lake City High, set a meet and stadium record in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:11.33 at the Pelluer Invitational at Roos Field in Cheney. Her time broke the previous mark, set by Montana's Kelly Rice in 11:26.38 in 2002.

Leonard, a sophomore from Lakeland High, threw a career-best 45 feet, 5 inches in the women's shot put to finish fifth at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational on Sunday in Palo Alto. The throw puts her 10th all-time at the event in school history.

Amende, a senior from Coeur d'Alene High, struck out nine over seven innings as the Panthers defeated Doane College 3-1 on April 23 in Crete, Neb. In his next start, Amende struck out five and allowed three hits as the Panthers defeated Central Christian College 25-1 in five innings on April 28.

Douglas, a senior from Post Falls High, went 3 for 4 with five RBIs including a three-run home run and two-run triple for the Yotes in the first game of a doubleheader against the Lewis-Clark State Warriors in Caldwell on Friday. Lewis-Clark ended up winning the first game 20-12.

Pope, a senior from Coeur d'Alene High, won the pole vault with a mark of 16 feet, 6.75 inches during the Duane Hartman Invitational at Spokane Falls Community College on Saturday. Pope also cleared 16-2 3/4 to finish second in the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif.
