William 'Bill' D. Brewer

William "Bill" D. Brewer, 74, longtime Moses Lake resident passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Samaritan Hospital after several years of suffering ill health. A private family committal service will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church Columbarium. Bill was active in golfing and moved to Moses Lake in 1970 to be Assistant Pro to Ed Bucklin. In 1971 he was Washington State Amateur Golf Champion. He also won several other awards throughout his golfing career.

In 1978 he married Pinky Schuster who had 4 grown boys; Greg DeShaw, Mike DeShaw, Jeff DeShaw and Brad DeShaw. Bill was their buddy and great friend. Brad DeShaw preceded him in death in 2008. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Chris and Carmen Brewer from Auburn, WA.

Bill had many friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
