Lake County has plenty to brag about.

Ronan-Mission had a bevy of talented athletes do well. Adessa Durglo took first in the triple jump (34-10), second in the high jump (5-3) and tied for sixth in the long jump (15-9.5).

"Someone said the other day a good comment about the Top Ten Meet," Ronan head coach Crystal Pitts said. "In the first year, you just wanted to be invited, then the next year you want to place at it, then by that third year you want to win it. Adessa jumped well. She had 5'05" on her final jump and just brushed it. She also upped her St. Ignatius school record when she cleared 5'03". In the long jump she had two of her best jumps of the season but did not hit the board well enough to count them. It's coming together for her."

For the boys, Senior "Air" Jordan Franklin [who might be the fastest kid in Lake County] took third in the 200-meter dash (23.45) and second in the high jump (6-1). Junior Marcus Hungerford took fourth in the 800 (2:06.61).

The Polson girls had two stars. Senior Breanne Kelley placed fifth in the 100 meters (16.25) and sixth in the 300 hurdles (48.22). Fellow senior Mesa Starkey took fourth in the 3,200 (11:52.27)

Charlo saw three placers as Dawn Blevins took fifth in the girls' javelin (112-8), while junior Stephen Delaney continued his mastery in the hurdles, taking second in both the 110 (15.60) and 300-meter (39.95) events.

Senior Chance Rosenbaum tied for fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 12-6.
