POST FALLS - New Vision High's annual spring plant sale will be Saturday.

The fundraiser for the school's greenhouse class will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school, 205 W. Mullan Ave.

Any remaining plants will be sold next week during class hours from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

Tomatoes, peppers, petunias, marigolds, begonias, impatiens, lavender and herbs will be among the plants for sale. Prices range from $1 to $5.

Hanging baskets and patio bowls will sell for $10 to $15.

The class uses greenhouse lady bugs and wasps to naturally control aphids and whitefly.

"We've worked really hard to keep the prices as low as possible even though it seems all of our supplies, seeds, fertilizers and beneficial bugs have gone up," said instructor Bill Dean. "The kids have worked hard this year to offer another outstanding selection of plants for our many loyal customers."
