Lois Marie Wormuth, 91, of Post Falls, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Kootenai Medical Center. She was born April 4, 1920, in Hamill, S.D., the daughter of Arthur and Anna (Koopke) McEachran.
Lois worked as a telephone operator prior to her marriage to Allen L. Wormuth on Dec. 24, 1945. They celebrated 65 loving years together last year. The couple lived most of their married life on a small acreage near Post Falls.
Lois embraced God's plan of salvation. Her life was full of love for her Lord, family and to all who touched her life.
She is survived by her husband, Allen of Post Falls; her daughters, Louise Scott and husband Kenneth of Topeka, Kan., and Irene Brundige of Rathdrum; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Sweitzer of Post Falls.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2011, at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d'Alene Chapel, with viewing beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens with a reception following at the Yates Hayden Gathering Center.
