I had a hard time writing this letter. Knowing that there were words I want to use that just couldn't be printed in the newspaper. So I figured I'd let the reader use their own imagination and sort of fill-in-the-blanks. Here we go.

So, the mayor and City Council still want to go ahead with their plan to take McEuen Field and the Third Street boat ramp from the public. Well, (insert your favorite negative four-letter word here) that! Not only that, they claim there will be no cost to the public. How full of (insert another four-letter word here) are these people? Where do they think the money for the LCDC comes from? The (you guessed it, insert another four-letter word)ing money fairy?

If the mayor, City Council, and that (insert seven-letter word describing a person, or a three-letter abbreviation) at The Resort want to STEAL McEuen Field and the Third Street Boat Ramp from the public, they better open their own (insert minor four-letter word here) wallets and pay for it, in its entirety, themselves. All of the $23-32 MILLION WORTH!

YOU DO NOT GET TO RIP OFF THE CITIZENS OF COEUR D'ALENE AND BILL US FOR IT AT THE SAME TIME!

While you're at it, you better start divesting yourself of your local properties, and prepare to move. None of you will be keeping your positions past the next election. There's the door. Leave.
