Twins take two from Belgrade

The Glacier Twins AA team got back on
the winning track last week, downing Libby 13-2 on May 4 and then
they won a doubleheader against Belgrade 8-7 and 8-2 on May 7.
Against Libby Jeremy Nielson had two
RBIs as the Twins shot out to an early 3-0 and then added six more
runs in the top of the fifth to hammer the Loggers.
At Belgrade, the boys came back and
scored five runs in the top of the sixth inning to secure the
victory.
In the second game, Cody Hill was
strong on the mound, striking out 10 and allowing just two hits.
Hill also went 3-for-4 from the plate.
On May 8 the Twins shuffled down the
road to Bozeman where the Bucks sent them packing with a 14-4
victory. Devyn Rocker had a good game, going 2-for-2, but the Bucks
beat up on pitcher Isaac Venezio, scoring seven runs in the first
two innings.
The Twins face Libby Wednesday at 6
p.m. at home and then host Belgrade Saturday at 2 p.m. and Helena
Sunday at noon.
The Twins are now 4-5 on the
season.
