RONAN - The Maidens picked up a dual win over Whitefish but the Chiefs dropped all three of their duals last weekend in tennis action.

On Tuesday, the Ronan girls played Columbia Falls tough with a singles win by Amber Metzger, and two doubles wins by Seri Smith and Daria Blixt-Leo, and Sarah Anderson and Aimee Feiberg.

However, the WildKats would take the dual 4-3.

The boys fell to Columbia Falls 6-1, with doubles team Logan Soukkala and Christian Anderson picking up the lone win for Ronan in the dual.

In Bigfork on Thursday, the Vikings swept the Chiefs 7-0 while the Bigfork girls down Ronan 6-1. Aimee Freiberg picked the lone win at the No. 3 singles spot for the Maidens.

Against Whitefish on Friday, the Ronan boys got a singles wins from Chase Allen and a doubles victory from Aaron Yazzie and Spencer Sucha, but the Chiefs fell 5-2.

Josie Benedetti won at the No. 1 spot for the Ronan girls, and the Maidens also got singles wins from Amber Metzger and Aimee Freiberg. They swept doubles action with wins by Taylor Courville and Katelyn Matkovich at No. 1, Seri Smith and Daria Blixt-Leo at No. 2, and then Sarah Anderson and Brianna Frank at No. 3.
