Kirsten Raas jumps into Flathead Lake while her son Kellen looks on from Lakeside’s public dock. The two were taking full advantage of the clear weather before driving back to Edmonton, Alberta, where it had been rainy.

Montana National Guard Honor Guard members carry the body of Army PFC Nicholas Cook to a hearse at Glacier Park International Airport. Cook died in Afghanistan on March 7, 2010, when insurgents attacked his unit.
