Nancy Ann David, 78

Nancy David went to be with our Lord on Sunday, May 8, 2011. She was surrounded by her husband, Errol, and family at Kootenai Medical Center.
Nancy was born in Tacoma, Wash., Feb. 12, 1933. She graduated from Fife High School in 1951 and married her high school sweetheart, Don Lake. That union produced four children, Christine (Lake) Jewell, Terry Lake, Scott Lake and Donnie Lake. Nancy and Don divorced and in 1979 Nancy married Errol David.
Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She managed to stay in touch with all of them.
Nancy and Errol frequently enjoyed going to the coast to visit with Nancy's old high school friends, especially her best friend, Janet (Gary) Elfing. She enjoyed shopping, going to Curves for a workout and occasionally going to the Coeur d'Alene Casino in Worley to try her luck.
She was a regular attendee at North Country Chapel and thoroughly enjoyed the teaching of Pastor Bob David.
She was preceded in death by her son, Terry; her mother, Vivian and father Bob.
She is survived by her husband, Errol; daughter Christine (Doug) Jewell; sons Scott Lake and Donnie (Mara) Lake; brother Terry (Connie) Williams and brother Roger (Ruth) Williams.
At her request, no services will be held. A private cremation is planned.
The family suggests memorial donations can be made in Nancy's name to North County Chapel, 2281 W. Seltice Way, Post Falls, ID 83854.
