Bulldogs strong in final tune up

The Lady Bulldogs final tune up before

the divisional track meet produced good results. Whitefish finished

in second place at the Polson meet, behind only Corvallis.

Amanda Foley led the way in the

sprints, taking second place in the 100 and 200. Marlow Schulz won

the 800 while teammate Jessica Sagen was second.

Sagen took second in the 1,600 and

teammates Carly Schwickert and Bailey Eaton finished in third and

fourth. Heather Bailey was third in the 300 hurdles.

The 1,600 relay team took first with a

4:06.00 and was second in the 400 relay.

Evlann Reynolds earned sixth in the

shot put and Abby Strellnauer was third in discus. Brooke Silliker

launched to third place in the pole vault.

The boys team finished in fifth place

with 48 points.

Drew Galbraith won the 310 hurdles with

a 15.89 and the high jump with a 6-0 leap. Gage Vasquez took second

in the 800 with a 2:07.02.

Fischer Gangemi was sixth in the 1,600

and Sean Foley was sixth in the pole vault.
