Grab your rod, pick a fishing spot and enjoy a day on the water. Reports from various sources indicate fishing remains good to hot, depending upon the weather, of course.

PowerBait remains a good bait for trout, Spinnerbaits and large diving plugs for bass and Spinnerbaits, with the fishing considered excellent, and bottom bouncers for walleye, with the fishing considered fair to good.

Early lakes, such as Martha, would be considered fished out or poor fishing, but we wonder if there may be a few nice-sized fish left.
