BOISE - Levi Pereira drove in six runs - five during an 11-run fourth inning - as the Vikings routed the Patriots in a loser-out game of the state 5A baseball tournament at Memorial Stadium.

Pereira hit a two-run double in the fourth, then hit a three-run double later in the inning for Coeur d'Alene (24-2), which bounced back from a 4-3 loss to Mountain View of Meridian in the first round Thursday night.

Coeur d'Alene (24-2) plays Highland (20-6) of Pocatello today at 9 a.m. PDT for the consolation title.

Drew Turbin went 3 for 3 with three RBIs, and his two doubles increased his single-season school record to 15. Chad Nyquist went 2 for 4 with three RBIs.
