Hamilton, Cruz homer in return

Josh Hamilton and Nelson Cruz both homered in their return to the Texas Rangers lineup and Alexi Ogando threw a five-hitter for his first career shutout, 4-0 over the Chicago White Sox on Monday night in Arlington, Texas.

Indians 3, Red Sox 2: Asdrubal Cabrera's two-out RBI double in the eighth inning - the latest big hit delivered by Cleveland's shortstop - rallied the host Indians over Boston.

Blue Jays 7, Yankees 3: J.P. Arencibia hit a three-run double in a five-run sixth inning to help visiting Toronto past New York.

Tigers 6, Rays 3: Victor Martinez hit a two-run double and Jhonny Peralta had a two-run single in the eighth, lifting host Detroit over Tampa Bay.

Angels 4, Athletics 1: At Anaheim, Calif., Torii Hunter doubled home the tiebreaking run in the eighth, leading Los Angeles over Oakland.

• NATIONAL LEAGUE

Phillies 10, Reds 3: Jimmy Rollins, Placido Polanco and Raul Ibanez homered and host Philadelphia beat Cincinnati.

Brewers 11, Nationals 3: Corey Hart hit his first three home runs this season and drove in seven to tie both club records, lifting host Milwaukee past Washington.

Astros 4, Dodgers 3: Hunter Pence's two-out RBI single in the ninth lifted Houston over Los Angeles.

Cardinals 3, Padres 1: Albert Pujols hit his first homer in 106 at-bats to lead St. Louis in San Diego.
