Two of Warden's quintet make cut

LAKEWOOD - After sending five golfers to the Class 1B/2B state finals at Meadow Park Golf Course, which began yesterday, the Warden Cougars will have to hang there hat on a dynamic duo with one day left to play.

Brandon Wurzer shot a 91 and Caleb Caballero finished with a 92 to make the cut and earn the right to play another day in the season's final round.

Ryan Baumgart of DeSales leads the way with a score of 74.

Warden's Trent Bates, Kenny Sullivan, and Conrad Ruge all shot 95s to miss the cut by two strokes.
