Caballero, Wurzer lead Warden to ninth place

LAKEWOOD - Warden Cougar golfers Caleb Caballero and Brandon Wurzer each shot two-day totals of 183 to finish tied for 31st place as their squad took ninth at the Class 1B/2B state finals that wrapped at Meadow Park Golf Course yesterday.

Warden, which had five golfers qualify for the state finals in Lakewood, recorded 18 team points to finish in the top 10. Bear Creek School won the state title with an 111 team mark.
