Lums in title game

MISSOULA, Mont. - One bad inning against the Bozeman Bucks cost the Coeur d'Alene Lumbermen a third victory without a loss to open their season at the Dale Dahlgren Memorial Day Tournament.
But after Bozeman lost later Sunday, the Lumbermen had clinched a berth in today's championship game at 2 p.m. PDT.
Coeur d'Alene beat the Helena Senators 13-7 and lost to Bozeman 12-11 and sit at 2-1 in the round-robin tourney.
Against Helena, leadoff hitter Colin Comack drove in four runs in an eight-run third inning for Coeur d'Alene, hitting a three-run triple and then coming up later in the inning and delivering an RBI triple. He also scored twice in the inning. Grant Curtis went 3 for 4, including a three-run homer in the fourth.
Bozeman scored eight runs in the top of the seventh inning to overcome a 10-4 Lums lead.
