LaCretia Marie Van Dusen, 22 years old, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 27, 2011. She was born in Pullman, Wash., in 1988.
She grew up in Coeur d'Alene, attended Ramsey Elementary, Woodland Middle School and graduated from Lake City High School in 2006.
LaCretia was employed for several years at North Idaho Gastroenterology & Cardiology. She was also employed at Dagny's Coffee Stand and Coeur d'Alene Kmart.
LaCretia was our princess, beautiful, caring, funny, so kindhearted, always willing to help others. She loved shopping, clothes and fashion. She looked forward to her annual family reunions.
She is survived by her parents, Rick and Mary Van Dusen of Coeur d'Alene, brother Nick of Phoenix, Ariz., grandparents Shirley and Erv Bott of Clarkston, Wash., and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private memorial service was held with family and close friends. The family requests donations to be made to the American Diabetes Association.
