Larry Arnold Wilson, 69

Larry Arnold Wilson, 69, of Post Falls, and a former Stockton, Calif., resident passed away Oct. 28, 2011, in Lodi, Calif. He was born to Ezra and Pauline Wilson on June 17, 1942, in Tulare, Calif. He lived in San Jose, Calif., for four years, and the family moved to Stockton where he was raised.

Larry worked at Cal Cedar Pencil Factory before he entered the U.S. Air Force in 1962, and was honorably discharged in 1966. He returned to Stockton and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a Postal Clerk until 1998. Then he and his wife, Bertha, who he married on June 30, 1978, moved to Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls for 11 years until September 2011.

He was a great musician and artist, and was a very kind loving man.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by; brothers, Floyd, Roy and Charlie Wilson; and a sister, Violet Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha; a son, Larry Wilson; daughters Katrina Byrum and husband Bob, Paula Connrad and Tara Agans; sisters Barbara Thurman and husband Charles, Wanda Mondavi and husband John; also 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

"We know you are playing your guitar in Heaven now. We miss you so much, and we all love you so-o-o much!"

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial, Highway 99 and Harney Lane, Lodi. Committal will follow in the Azalea Garden. Pastor Tim Pollock of The Home Church will officiate, assisted by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard presenting military honors.
