Joe Malloy reported the highest amount of campaign contributions among Post Falls City Council candidates for Tuesday's election.

Malloy, challenging for Seat 3, reported $2,775 in contributions and $2,404 in expenditures. Recent contributions came from Brent Regan and T.M. Johnson, $100 each.

Incumbent Scott Grant reported $615 in contributions and $515 in expenditures. The contributions were a $415 loan and $200 from Chuck Lempesis.

Seat 1 incumbent Kerri Thoreson reported $1,915 in contributions and $1,363 in expenditures. Contributions have included $500 from Ron Nilson and $200 from Lempesis.

Challenger Jim Edgington reported no contributions.

No report was received by the city from challenger Joe Bodman as of The Press deadline on Wednesday.

For Seat 5, incumbent Skip Hissong reported $1,382 in contributions and $506 in expenditures. The largest contributions came from Gary Schneidmiller ($250), Dick Compton ($200) and a loan ($464).

Challenger Barry Rubin reported $180 in contributions from himself and $180 in expenditures.

In Rathdrum, mayor challenger Kevin Randles earlier reported a $3,000 in-kind cash contribution to his campaign. He has spent $1,200.

Mayor Vic Holmes reported $320 in contributions, including a $250 contribution from Tim Skubitz, and $310 in expenditures.

Council Seat 4 incumbent Debbie Holmes reported $180 in contributions and expenditures. No report had been received by the city from write-in challenger Len Newton as of Wednesday night.

Seat 2 incumbent Fred Meckel, who is running unopposed, reported no contributions and expenditures.
